Gallery Attendant at Kunsthalle Praha

Become a key guide for visitors to Kunsthalle Praha.

We’re looking for someone quick-thinking, confident in communication, and attentive when it comes to safeguarding artworks. You should be available for at least eight shifts per month. This position is ideal for students as well as active retirees — it might just be the right opportunity for you!

What your job will involve:

  • Ticket control

  • Supervision of exhibits in the gallery

  • Assisting visitors with orientation and movement around the building

  • Assisting with the relocation of furniture

  • Informing visitors, communication in both Czech and English

  • Maintaining the smooth daily operation of Kunsthalle Praha in collaboration with the operations coordination and security teams

  • Participation in training sessions

  • Providing feedback as part of visitor services

  • Preparing spaces, often taking on the role of a guide

  • Assisting with events, educational workshops, conferences, etc.

  • Experience with cash registers is a plus

What we offer:

  • Start date: Beginning of June 2025

  • Contract type: Part-time employment contract (DPČ/DPP)

  • Compensation: 130–170 CZK/hour
